Northeast Career Planning

Focus: empowering individuals with disabilities to break through barriers to employment.

This program helps with opportunities for employment, training, and education. Career Planning promotes recovery and utilizes strategic partnerships to offer person-centered services.

Expansive services covered under the Northeast Career Services at Unity House program were made in part by the merger of Unity House and Northeast Career Planning. You can read more about this merger, which finalized on January 1, 2021, here. 

or families with children ages 5-12: campers meet up each weekday at Unity House’s Kathryn Allen Center in Lansingburgh.

The camp is unique in that it takes children to all the fun that our beautiful area has to offer. With counselors, children will explore state parks, enjoy museums, make arts and crafts, and visit fun and enriching spots. The camp is free for those eligible.

Applications for each session of camp will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close once camp is at capacity.

Unity House offers a variety of youth programming for children of all ages. For teens and young adults, Unity House’s Kathryn Allen Center offers programs and services geared toward youth and young adults, including a youth drop-in center for teens.

Originally called Unity Sunshine, services for children with developmental delays, as well as their neuro-typical peers, are some of the earliest services Unity House has provided since our founding in 1971. A Child’s Place at Unity House is where children of all abilities grow and learn together.
